PieChart Browser For Soups
Quick Description
This little program will allow you to browse your storage devices and view them
in the form of a pie chart. See what's taking up all the space. It will also
allow you to browse through the enties in the storage devices.
Features
- Browse Stores, Soups, and Entries.
- View Stores and Soups in pie-chart form
- Piechart view can be zoomed large or small
Bugs/Problems
- Running this program in landscape mode makes some buttons hard to get at. (nearly off-screen)
- Browsing to the deepest node in an entry gives you a blank screen. This WAS going to be an editor,
but I never finished it. Just tap anywhere, and you return to the browser.
- Inserting or removing cards while this app is running is not handled. Don't do it.
Instructions
- Launch the program (make sure you're in portrait view, or it'll be hard to close the app)
- You'll see a list of stores currently available, and what %full they are. Tap on one, and
you'll see the piechart window display a view of the stores, with the slice representing
the one you tapped on, flashing. There is an outer bar around the slice. The thick part represents
how much of it is filled, the thin part is empty. The slice as a whole shows how big it is
compared to other stores. You will also notice a new window appeared. This contains all the items
in the store.
- Tap any soup on the selected store, and you'll get a piechart showing its' contents. For example,
tapping the Packages soup will show a list of all packages on that store, sorted by size in the
piechart.
- Choosing an entry and pressing "Browse" will show you what's in it.
- Tapping a slot in the browser will allow you to browse through it.
Screen Shots
- The Soup Browser view, showing the mods I've stored on my 4meg cards, and the small piechart view.
The numbers following each item tell the size of the item, and how much that is relative to all the items
present. In the case of stores, the percent is how full it is. So, for example, Gslinger.mod is 17% of
the packages soup on the 4meg card, which is 64% full.
- The Slot Browser allows you to poke around in the soup entries and see what's there.
